Maxwell Smart (Steve Carell) is the bumbling detective in this big-screen adaptation of the 1960’s-era TV comedy series. He is promoted to special agent after the evil geniuses at KAOS attack the headquarters of the U.S. spy agency Control and compromise the identity of the other agents.
This movie is not as funny as the TV series because the main actor is not put in as many silly and far-fetched situations.
Grade: C+
